here the improvement means no way to re-login to my session :-) there is a mousepointer, but no password screen and type blind is ignored

Yeah, I tested and found no way to unlock if "require password" option isn't enabled, so I pulled the update shortly afterward. I'd recommend downgrading away from 4.11.3-4

ah - got it - after automatic activation of screensaver correct, not enabled here

Did a new kde-workspace-4.11.3-5 build that includes some followup fixes, and it seems to work much nicer (for me, so far).
