Hi,
I just upgraded one of my laptops to version 32. Most seems to work fine, but a few doesn't work any more.
Starting Calibre I get this:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/calibre", line 20, in <module> sys.exit(calibre()) File "/usr/lib64/calibre/calibre/gui_launch.py", line 72, in calibre main(args) File "/usr/lib64/calibre/calibre/gui2/main.py", line 542, in main listener = create_listener() File "/usr/lib64/calibre/calibre/gui2/main.py", line 513, in create_listener return Listener(address=gui_socket_address()) File "/usr/lib64/calibre/calibre/utils/ipc/server.py", line 109, in __init__ self._listener._unlink.cancel() AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'cancel'
Starting dnfdragora gives after long time updating the repo files this: Get root backend. Locked (False) Get root backend. Locked (False) Unexpected error: <class 'KeyError'> <_M_> [ui] YUILoader.cc:163 deleteUI(): Shutting down UI <_M_> [ew] YExternalWidgets.cc:116 ~YExternalWidgetsTerminator(): Shutting down mga External Widgets <_M_> [ew] YMGAWidgetExtensionFactory.cc:49 ~YMGAWidgetFactory(): Factory removed
From this I guess the there may be something wrong with the Python installation, but I cannot figure out what to do to fix it.
Can you give me any hints to overcome these problems?

Thak you for your response.
I get the same, and yes it is installed from dnf.
I have a couple of other laptops where I do not have any problem, so it is probably something that is f**ked up in this particular installation.

python3-3.8.3 update. I was still on python3-3.8.2 . Now fails for me as well after update . Temporary workaround:
dnf downgrade python3

I have the same issue with Calibre. The flatpak version of Calibre from flathub works though.

You're quite right. Flathub version works.
