First of all, the packaging list only discusses policy, and is not the place to go for support. To get help consult fedora-list instead.

Secondly, Fedora 14 is way outdated; the end of life was in late 2011. Consider upgrading to a supported version of Fedora.

The best way to get a copy of this specific release would be to either:

1. find a copy of the Fedora 14 x86_64 ISO
2. get the SRPM for freetype-devel-2.4.2-3.fc14 and build it locally

with: rpmbuild --rebuild freetype-devel-2.4.2-e.fc14.src.rpm 3) go to a site like rpmfind.net and do a search [1]

[1] a simple google search showed me:

There is of course the official Fedora archive, and the required files can be found there:

True enough. Perhaps I shouldn't have said "best way"? However, with what I described, he can go back as far as possible since the website above only goes back to FC7.

Prior to FC7 Fedora was split into "core" and "extras" (extras was introduced with FC3):
