In other distributions, the package name conflict in particular has been resolved (or maybe didn't exist ) just by naming the snappy Google library as 'libsnappy'.
However the problem remains (and it is most serious) for 'spice-gtk-tools' that provides a binary already named 'snappy'.
Let me see what upstream wants do.
