I had a look through recent archives but couldn't see anything - are RPMs for Ruby v1.9 likely to be available for Fedora 14 somewhere? I saw RPMs for RHEL . .

Just Ruby 1.9.1 as far as I know:

Just Ruby 1.9.1 as far as I know:

There does not appear to be any F14 packages available from that page - does that mean I need to download the F13 source RPM and build it?

Of course if you do your own build, it would be best for you. But you might try f13 repo [1] first. However I am not sure if it works neither if it is safe.

I built it from here:

and it worked OK (I had to change string.each to string.each_line) - I would prefer to stick to released RPMs . . oh well, just have to wait I guess . .
