I had screen tearing issue on vertical screens with F30. As KDE spin uses X11 instead of Wayland, perhaps installing automatically : xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-390xx xorg-x11-drv-nouveau xorg-x11-drv-intel xorg-x11-drv-vmware xorg-x11-drv-ati ... by using a detection script during install so the experience can be smooth. Would it be possible ? I didn't look if they where on the Fedora-Live media.
See https://ask.fedoraproject.org/t/severe-screen-tearing-after-rotating-a-monit... Thanks

The last 4 are already installed by default. I don't know why -amdgpu isn't.
-nvidia-390xx is not in fedora (but rpmfusion-nonfree)

Moreover, xorg-x11-drv-intel is not the preferred choice for many users, where the modesetting driver provides better results.
Ciao
Ok, so will KDE spin include xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu for next versions then ? Thanks

Not necessarily.
First, as a distribution, fedora doesn't install that by default anywhere. Either that's an oversight or on purpose.
Second, *if* any chance is to be made, a justification needs to be provided, whether that be for fedora as whole or for kde spin specifically.
Is anyone able and interested in gathering answers for those 2 questions?
