Council policy proposal: Process for promoting Fedora deliverable to Edition

With several Fedora deliverables ready (or nearly ready) to be promoted to Edition status, we need a policy for how this will work. After consulting with representatives from QA, Release Engineering, and Fedora IoT, I drafted a proposed process[1]. The Council will begin voting on Tuesday 28 July in accordance with the policy change policy. This has also been posted to the Fedora Community Blog[2]. Next Council meeting

So you may recall last week that I suggested that we cancel the 6 August Council meeting because it's half an hour after our virtual face-to-face ends. But I have since realized that it's the monthly video meeting, which will be the Intern Showcase. University Outreach program is a new initiative that aims to create a bond between educational institutions and the GNOME community. We will focus on reaching out to universities to help them adopt GNOME technologies and start to contribute to the project, benefiting students, institutions, faculties, and free software communities. Heads up: Fedora Council meeting time changed

In order to accommodate a shift in the FESCo meeting, the Fedora Council will change to meeting at 1pm Eastern (America/New York) beginning the week of 20 July. We will continue to meet in #fedora-meeting-1.
