Game night is loosely organized and is really a bring your own game
event. There will be some sponsored food. So yes, people can join as
they wish.
I wonder if it wouldn't be cool to do the Fedorator work in a corner of
that room as it may draw interest. I for one would like to see it but
not build one :)
