HI All,
I was over at http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/6/x86_64/
and found no sign of xfce4-notes-plugin. Have you guys found a
better sticky note program? If not, would you please consider
adding xfce4-notes-plugin back into the repo?
Many thanks,
-T
Hi,
has anyone figured out a way bring back update notifications to Xfce? It
getting boring to open yumex or Terminal to do a yum check-update and
recognize that there are no updates available.

Hey, everyone. We have one final Beta RC (hopefully!) for desktop
validation:
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/16-Beta.RC3/Live/x86_64/
We could really use some help ensuring the desktop validation tests are
done across all the desktops to make sure they're in shape for Beta.
More info and the results page here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_16_Beta_RC3_Desktop
It's easy to do the tests and file the results, there's full
instructions there, but do feel free to poke me or anyone else in
#fedora-qa if you have trouble.
At minimum we need the Alpha and Beta tests for Desktop, Fallback and
KDE to be complete in order to sign off on the Beta release, but it'd be
great to have results for all of the tests for all desktops.
We got the tests done for Desktop and KDE in RC2, and there should be no
difference with RC3 - the only changes between RC2 and RC3 are an
updated libreport to fix a bug with reporting bugs from the installer,
and dropping gnome-documents from the default install as it crashes on
start - but we still need to check. Fallback mode is highest priority as
that wasn't tested in RC2.
Thanks!

Are we going to see this any time soon? Is there something folks in these
parts like better?

Hey, everyone. It's been a hard trek, but we have a second release
candidate for the F16 Beta, and we have live images for the four major
desktops:

We could really use some help ensuring the desktop validation tests are
done across all the desktops to make sure they're in shape for Beta.

Hi Guys,
I am running sl6.1 x64 and Xfce 4.8.
Under Xfce 4.4.2, there was an option to open Xfce-Notes-plugin
at logon. Under Xfce 4.8, this seems to be missing. Is there
a way to open Xfce-Notes-plugin under Xfce 4.8 when I log in?
Many thanks,
-T
I currently use Dropbox.
I have come axcross the following.
http://softwarebakery.com/maato/thunar-dropbox.html
In case anyone else doesn't want to install nautilus-dropbox.
Maybe it could be added to Fedora\Rpmfusion?
