Jens, das ist doch ein super Anfang - schön dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast! Ich habe natürlich gleich einmal "trusted - vertrauenswürdig" eingefügt... Wäre toll, wenn insbesondere die "alten Hasen" sich diese Einträge mal anschauen würden. Denn vermutlich gibt es zu einigen Ausdrücken übliche Fedora-Übersetzungen, die sich von denen in Gnome jedoch unterscheiden. Das Wörterbuch kann, nein.. Hallo nochmal, die Reaktionen sind also recht eindeutig gegen "trusted" und für eine deutsche Übersetzung. Wenn keine Einwände bestehen, würde ich nochmal kurz die PO-Datei durchgehen und "trusted" nun mit "vertrauenswürdig" übersetzen. Das genügt dann unseren Ansprüchen an verständliches Deutsch, Timo hat in diversen Quellen auch diesen Ausdruck gefunden, und auch Thomas Wörner sagt, er kann sich eher mit "vertrauenswürdig" anfreunden als mit "vertraut". So ist hoffentlich allen Seiten gedient! :-) Besten Dank für all eure Rückmeldungen! Ich bin, wie bereits von Thomas (Spura) angesprochen, auch dafür denglisch zu vermeiden und wenn es deutsche Alternativen für technische Begriffe gibt, diese auch zu nutzen. Sicherlich gibt es kein 1zu1 übersetzbares deutsches Wort für trusted, aber wenn man es im Kontext betrachtet, finde ich tut man dem Programm keinen Abbruch, wenn man es mit vertraut übersetzt. Desweiteren können Leute die mit IT-Begriffen wie Trusted Computing nichts anfangen können, so sicherlich einen besseren Zugang zum Programm finden. Und zuletzt: Wenn immer wieder Leute trusted mit vertraut übersetzen, liegt es wohl daran, dass es für sie intuitiv erscheint. Also ich meine man sollte es auch deutsch lassen. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hallo Übersetzer, hallo Liste.. ich finde es durchaus schade das die Inaktivität hier in der Liste überwiegt. Zumal Übersetzungsprobleme hier einfacher gelöst werden könnten also wie in der Hauptliste, weil man sich ja hier besser ausdrücken kann. Das zum einen, und jetzt zum anderen... Ich hätte da eine Idee, damit sich die deutsche Übersetzung einheitlich durchsetzt. Es kann nicht angehen das z.B. der eine das Wort "Button" mit "Knopf" übersetzt und ein anderer mit "Schaltfläche". Das sieht meiner Meinung nach Müll aus, und zeugt nicht von professionalität. Die Idee wäre auf der Teamseite ein Wörterbuch einzurichten (in Form einer Tabelle) in der Worte eine feste Übersetzung bekommen, und wie mit technischen Ausdrücken wie ACPI oder reIPL usw. zu verfahren ist. Hallo liebe Leute, diese Frage möchte ich mal an alle deutschen Übersetzer weiterreichen. Entschuldigt, falls das schon früher einmal (oder mehrmals??) diskutiert wurde. Ich war diejenige, die in system-config-firewall den Begriff "trusted" als "vertraut" übersetzt hat, was Package Maintainer Thomas allerdings nicht korrekt findet. Ich verstehe sein Argument, dass "vertraut" im Sinne von "familiar" nicht passt. Dennoch finde ich, dass "vertraut" auch im Sinne von "diesem Dienst wird vertraut" verwendet werden kann. Das finde ich persönlich schöner als Anglizismen wie "Trusted Dienste" o.ä. Die Implikationen, die beim Trusted Computing bei dem Begriff "trusted" mitschwingen, können meines Erachtens genausogut auch bei "vertraut" mitschwingen, wenn das Konzept von den Nutzern verstanden wurde. Hallo allerseits, ich stimme Jens zu, eine verbindliche Liste mit Ausdrücken plus Übersetzung und ggf. Kontext wäre hilfreich. Sieht man ja gerade wieder an der Diskussion um trusted vs. vertraut... Keine Ahnung, ob ein derartiges Feature für Transifex möglich ist. Und wäre dies dann nutzbar mit allen verschiedenen Übersetzungsprogrammen? Es klingt auf Anhieb zu aufwändig und bleibt daher auf absehbare Zeit bestimmt nur ein frommer Wunsch ;-) Deshalb bin ich auch dafür, die vorhandene Seite mit Übersetzungshinweisen im Fedora-Wiki zu erweitern. Dabei den Status Quo der Gnome-Liste so weit wie möglich kopieren und anschließend erweitern mit Ausdrücken, die uns in Fedora immer wieder übel aufstoßen. In so eine Liste Zeit zu investieren, ist leider erst einmal mühsam, klar. Aber es hilft auf Dauer nicht nur der Konsistenz, sondern erspart sicher auch viele Diskussionen, Recherchen und Zeit.
