Crazy idea, why don't we place it in GNOME Documents? Or as some sort of section in Help? Or why don't we provide a link from the default page on Firefox? I kind of agree with Elad that putting this in Software is kind of odd, I am certain that it wouldn't be the most obvious place for people to find this info. (In fact I think most people looking for this would just google for it, that's what I'd do).

Or it could simply be in Software, which is where software is.
But this is documentation, not Software... it makes no sense to put it in Software from UX perspective. You don't go to the Android appstore to look for android documentation, right?
But you still find plenty of books and manuals in the Google store.

Huh. So, well, as long as Release Notes is not a launcher we install by default, it might be okay to show it in Software... still a bit weird, but it could work. maybe.
It wouldn't be so weird if there were other books and manuals, maybe in a dedicated category, in Software.
