Hi, I wonder if there are any plans to improve the look of Anaconda for F21 Workstation. In the state it is now it doesn't look very professional and I would even say that the Fedora "logo" in the left blue pane violates the Fedora logo usage guidelines.
Anaconda in RHEL 7 looks much better, like something that is finished. It'd be great if we could achieve something similar in Fedora Workstation, just aligned with the design and colors of the workstation product.

No plans in the Workstation WG list.

This is probably better asked on the anaconda development list. As far as I know, there's nothing workstation (or any product) specific here. It should look the same across them all, so it should get fixed in one spot.

1) This is a question for the Anaconda list, not the desktop list 2) What you see now on the left pane and on the top bar in the installer is "placeholder" AFAIK, and proper artwork for these needs to be created.

I'd even argue with Anaconda list and it's more Design team thing. Let me check if there's a ticket for Anaconda artwork, if not, it should be created.

It's definitely placeholder and not a showstopper for Alpha.

I do think it's a question for the desktop list because the desktop list has been picked to serve as a mailing list for the workstation working group. Because IMHO these high-profile design questions should be first discussed in the working groups to make sure the whole product is visually consistent and then delegated to particular teams for more detailed discussion and implementation. It's IMHO a better approach than waiting for whatever the silos in Fedora Project will come up with.

Yep, definitely. We've kind of been leaving it a bit messy as a clear reminder it needs to be done.

Glad you like it :) The RHEL 7 artwork is based on release-specific branding. I think we want something that doesn't have to be updated every release... for some reason subconsciously I was waiting (maybe out of habit) on the alpha wallpaper feedback to move on this, but we're probably better off that they aren't matchy-matchy. We've already had a tiny bit of discussion about it on the design-team list but I will make sure this happens in time for beta.
