Right now, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_28_talking_points#Fedora_Workstation just says
"Improved battery life: power-saving features are enabled by default."
What else do we have for F28? In particular, what things would we like
* users to look at in the beta * the press to write about * Fedora Ambassadors to learn about and "sell"?
And, could we expand on the above? What power-saving features are we talking about? If I say just that, and a journalist asks me for more detail, what do I need to know?

The beta release is very likely to be on target for next week, which means the release announcement is being written _now_.

Don't forget improved emoji support (we support more emojis now that we replaced our emoji font to Noto). That alone was enough to make me upgrade to F28 🙂 https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/31
I think Shotwell was replaced by gnome-photos in the default install (haven't tested it myself though) https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/32
We also have the improved thunderbolt support through Bolt

Isn't an obvious thing to mention just the bump to GNOME 3.28.0?

Both of these are already listed on the wiki page. I edited it now to add the changes I mentioned, and also the improved virtualbox guest integration, which was in the All Changes list on that page, but was missing from the Workstation highlights (and it's definitely relevant for Workstation)

We have Google Noto fonts supports Gnome 3.28 has tons of new features (starred and UI changes) [https://wiki.gnome.org/ThreePointTwentyseven] Reduced Initial Setup Redundancy (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/ReduceInitialSetupRedundancy)

Also couple of very good packages which were packaged with rust (https://fedoramagazine.org/oxidizing-fedora-try-rust-applications-today/)

Fedora Design Suite while inheriting features from Workstation missed Blender due to upstream bugs. The fixes are underway but will not make it for beta release.
Note that Design Suite Labs has both Gnome-Book and Gnome ToDo installed by default.

Can you add that to the wiki page?

Both were introduced in Fedora 27 Design Suite but undocumented in previous talking points.
