Stephen Gallagher kindly asked for a short summary of Workstation efforts and progress for FESCo's next meeting. I prepared a draft here that the WG (and Stephen) can review:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Workstation/Fedora_22_Workstation_FESCo_repor...
I encourage direct edits, but I would also settle for critique or suggestions if you aren't good with the words. ;-)
"Pushing new Wayland technology, now used in the login screen, and also quite usable in user sessions as an option"
Wayland doesn't work on one of my machines (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1200581) and I can't find documentation on how to set display size on the other. "Quite usable" is a bit optimistinc
"To fully succeed, we must also increase the diversity of Fedora release bits, which is not just a Workstation effort. "
I'm not sure what you mean by "diversity" here. But if it implies a lack of focus on shipping stuff that works for a large class of users I'm against it. ;-)
I think there are too many spins, for example. Why not just Workstation i686/x86_64, *one* Server DVD x86_64, *one* Cloud x86_64 host product and a better-documented netinstall for everyone else. Reduce the cognitive load on users - don't try to be everything for everyone.

"Usable" != "works on every machine." There are too many permutations to guarantee that. But after some surveys of other reviews and user reports I'm resetting this to "making progress."

What makes you think I'm implying that?
This is about being able to release in new formats in the future where they make sense, like Atomic trees.

It's usable. Here are the problems I see:
* Can't copy/paste between apps. IMO a blocker for F23. * Context menus appear in random locations. IMO a blocker for F23. * Cursor is too large in apps. IMO a blocker for F23. * gnome-terminal seems to shrink automatically, and the overlay when resizing it does not appear. * gnome-shell and gdm crash in tandem sometimes, and gnome-shell cannot reload. * Windows launch with weird sizes. * Mouse scroll wheel doesn't work in gnome-shell overview. * Accelerated compositing is broken in WebKitGTK+.
I'm not working on this, but keeping Wayland as default for F23 is looking entirelly feasible.
