G11N (L10N) meetup at FLOCK 2016

Hi translators Many of you already have followed similar subject posts in G11N ml, but just let me allow to remind for the others who might miss out that thread. There is the meetup plan at coming FLOCK for everyone of L10N, I18N, FLTG and Zanata teams [1]. I understand the sentence as, if a translator wants to edit the wiki page he/she is required to obtain certain FAS group membership. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding. 'Coordinator' is used widely in L10N team, referring a leader or senior who can support other translators in the team. Spam problems ==> Even harder to be a contributor for translations...

Hi there, because of spam, contributors need to be in one of the special groups to edit wiki (often annotated as CLA+1). Most of the translation contributors aren't in those groups... Localization team engagement is already difficult : create FAS, create bugzilla, register at trans, register at trans-LOCALE, introduce yourself, log in Zanata with FAS, as to be added. It can take days, if you do it right, because if you start register with zanata, then subscribe with your email to trans then create fas, then realise your login is already taken, you'll lose a lot of time... Do someone have an idea about how to make this easier ? But I'm not sure the answer is to have every contributors in cvsl10n group or in cvsl10n-LOCALE would make it more simply. -- Jean-Baptiste Holcroft

Dear translator teams, The ABRT developers updated strings and added retrace-server to Zanata. To target 100% of translated strings, there is 4 projects to survey : https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/abrt https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/gnome-abrt https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/libreport https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/retrace-server Please note: ..having 4 different projects asks to be more careful about global consistency, ..words can be difficult to translate (coredump, backtrace, ...), some languages won't take the risk but I invite you to find the best suited word with your community. ..a few strings are coming from kernel, you won't be able to translate it, even if shown in user interface Here are the details : https://github.com/abrt/abrt/issues/1157 Btw, retrace-server is in website group, but I don't know why.
