I've parsed the most recent emails as best as I could and pushed new schedules, but I know parts are still wrong. In particular:
1) What to do with Installation Guide dates and tasks 2) Description of "0-day tasks"
I don't think continuing to do this over email is going to be productive so I'm wondering when we can all meet on gobby again? Or if telephone works I'd be glad to set up an international phone conference? Or let me know when your next IRC meetings are and I can try to attend?
Those are all the options I can think of :)
Thanks, John

This sounds like a great idea to me. I think Gobby and IRC would work fine (even just using the chat in Gobby for that matter). The phone can be confusing with more than a couple people involved, when there's no agenda to follow. (At least, that's how I interpreted our marginal success in a phone conversation between you, me, and Karsten working on the Docs schedule.) In a brainstorming session like the ones Gobby encourages, that would be chaotic, so I vote -1 phone. But +2 for other collaboration, yee-ha!

It might be too late to respond, but I am familiar with IRC, so +1 for IRC. Thank you for bringing this up.

+1 to IRC.
We also need to use Gobby for shared, real-time document editing.
Where Gobby doesn't work for someone, we can do regular (~5 minute) saves to a wiki page, and take input via IRC.
Considering the folks involved ...
UTC +2 UTC +10 UTC -7
When is a good time?

Someone's going to get shafted on the timezone, no question. I can do a night meeting but it means Central Europe is asleep. I can do a morning but then Karsten will be asleep. And in between, Brisbane is asleep! Wow, this is making me sleepy too....

What's the resolution of this topic? When is the next joint scheduling meeting?

At this point, what is there left to resolve?
Is it just the details of when the Installation Guide bits are available?
Otherwise, I've been working with both schedules for weeks and that is the only confusion I've had. What else am I missing?
Maybe we can just solve this via email?

I was looking at the schedule the other night while trying to answer a question for John about it, and there are definitely still some confusing dates and labels there. I'm fine with doing it by email, but I think that dedicated time might resolve the problems quicker. That way John can import those changes into any prospective timelines for Fedora 11.
