Hi teams,
Fedora docs internationalization missed one more release, because of the fedora-docs build system being understood by one single person. And that person, despite his qualities and skills is/was unavailable for months.
All is here, the script works, but nobody does the action to make it go from staging to production.
I'm really disappointed. I spent so much time trying to make it work.
Doing that is not respecting the hundred of hours of work localization community did. Are we transparent for you docs people?
I feel like taking a break, but I feel like responsible to make fedora docs l10n go live.
Can someone take the responsibility to make this real? I'm tired.
Hi Jean,
I'm newbie here yet, but If I can help to contribute with this, I can do it. What's skills needs to do this task? Is the any guide to do it?
Cheers!

I'm sorry you're disappointed Jean-Baptiste, I understand your frustration.
I don't think it's too huge of a problem if we deploy this a bit later than Fedora's release date; it would definitely be better to have translations published on release day, but I don't think it's a hard requirement.
That being said, I'm not sure what I can do to help. We can talk on IRC/Telegram (tomorrow, I'll be gone for the rest of the day), but my knowledge of the build system is limited to nonexistent. I can push what you tell me to into prod, but that's about it. Is that something that would help you?

Hi,
I think that the whole story should prompt us and the Project Fedora itself to reconsider the way we treat the most active and valuable members of our community.
During the last few years, Jean-Baptiste put unprecedented efforts to make Fedora translations excellent. In fact, they are almost there now. We have now reliable platforms (Weblate and pagure) to deal with all major tasks. We have tools to check the translation integration in the distribution and many, many other useful things.
But... we lost the spirit of the community somehow. We did not support Jean- Baptiste the way we should. And now he is gone. We should decide what to do now.
Best regards, Yuri
