Dear translation teams,
Council ticket #268 "Long term funding request: translation platform hosting" was closed as approved!
This means we have a budget, and can now really work on the migration plan.
We now need to meet and identify together tasks.
Here is our teams project: https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/timel...
Any connected user should be able to join and contribute.
What was voted and agreed is:
1) @jibecfed https://pagure.io/user/jibecfed should begin a cross-project discussion about Weblate;
2) 6000 EUR is allocated to be spent assuming the cross-project conversation goes well. Authorization is by FCAIC and will be sent back to council if something unexpected comes up.
see details https://pagure.io/Fedora-Council/tickets/issue/268
FYI: this closes our ticket: https://pagure.io/g11n/issue/58
Jean-Baptiste
I am very excited to in this new chapter of the project. Congratulations for the approved budget! aabuke

Hi Balázs,
Everyone with a FAS account can interact with the project (creating items).
Here is a little description about how the tool works:
Here you have the list of "epics", which you can see as an objective. https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/epics
Here is the screen of the epic number 6 "Phase 1 - weblate beta period": https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/epic/...
You'll see a block name "Related user stories", which are tasks: I created one, named "Demo for Balázs", it's the number 8
You'll also find the user stories (tasks) in the kanban view: https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/kanba...
When you open it, you'll arrive on this page: https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/us/8
On top of the screen, bellow the task name, you'll see: This User Story belongs to #6 "Phase 1 - weblate beta period". Then you have description and eventually some subtasks.
The only issue with not being part of the team is that you won't be able to get tasks assigned to you. This is up to you to decide if this is an issue, add a subtask here to ask to be added: https://teams.fedoraproject.org/project/translation-platform-migration/us/9
Every one is welcome to contribute, being part of the "team" or not :)

Oh, so excited! Sorry for being silent for so long, but I'm looking forward to contribute more actively now.
