Hi all!
I can't find document (wiki or docs) where Fedora installation using Anaconda on the prefered by user language is described. Anaconda offers keyboard changing but not language. Can you point me such document?
IMHO keyboard changing in Anaconda is not good idea especially in the not latin world.

Hi all!
I can't find document (wiki or docs) where Fedora installation using Anaconda on the prefered by user language is described.
It should be in section 9.2 of Fedora Installation Guide, but it seems there is no screenshot for the language selection screen. [1]
Anaconda offers keyboard changing but not language.
Unless you are doing something different than the recommended steps in the installation guide, the language selection screen should be displayed before the keyboard selection screen shown in section 9.3 [2].
I tested it with F16 i386 and x86_64 DVDs.

I can confirm there is no language selection when installing from Live media (and never was in past releases either).

Using the Live installation, you first need to select your language on the upper right GNOME system-settings pannel, then you'll get the installation process in your language. using liveinstall, it will ask you again in which language it should install, that'll be used further by Anaconda (next reboot).

The steps I do are 1. Boot from Live Image 2. Select language from Gnome system-settings 3. Logout 4. Login 5. It ask me to rename some directories - Yes, rename them 6. Install on hard disk 7. Select US English keyboard layout ... after installation and login in the newly installed system add Bulgarian keyboard but theese steps are not discribed anywhere

I think we should always ask first the language… (or display it) Fedora is well translated, there is no point to hide that.

I think i'ts a very good idea to open this bugs. We have done a very good job in translations in most of the languages, there is no reason for do not make it easier to use.

Hi! there was a feature in Fedora 13 and 14 Live Image to choose language before live user login and the language change take effect immediately. In Fedora 15 this feature was removed. Can you confirm?
If yes, I think bug must be against "before login".
