Greetings all, the Fedora Account System is something of an upstream project and something of a Fedora website. We'll be making a new release for it and updating the Fedora servers with the new code soon. If people are interested in translating its user interface, it is setup in transifex to accept translations from the Fedora Translation teams.
My understanding is that I should start making these types of announcements ~8 days in advance of releases. Sorry for not asking sooner -- I can make the next release on the 17th if that's okay with people. Next I'll try to give more notice about upcoming releases.
Thanks, -Toshio

Hi Toshio,
Thank you for this notice ! For the French team at least that will let enough time to finish the translation.
Regards,

Thanks. How often will the FAS website be built from the translations? (Will daily be possible?) So we can review our translation. For example, the single line-"sponsor" in the pot file, we must confirm whether it is a verb or noun first, so that we can translate its meaning properly.

Yes, pulling translations to the staging fas is at[0] could help proofreading. At least it is possible to grep sources[1].

That's great. Thanks Kévin
Toshio,
There are many CLA strings, even if cla_done still exists, we should only mention the FPCA. I've seen with pingou, who forwarded to abadger1999, cla.html template is going to be removed. That would have been smart to have removed the not needed strings :).
I understand that he is working on it… That would be great if you could let us know if a new POT could be pushed before the fas update.
That's not a big problem as the only difference would be old strings removal, but we avoid to translate the strings not used.

I'm also abadger199 on IRC.
Couple updates here --
1) I've just removed those and pushed the updated .pot file. We were in a hurry to migrate from the cla to fpca and once it was out it slipped my mind to find the dead code and remove it. Sorry for the extraneous strings.
2) My apologies to everyone but especially the Spanish, Polish, and Japanese translators since they were at 100%, while updating the strings for the cla removal I found that two recent bugfixes brought in three string changes:
For clearing ssh keys: "Your key has been removed."
and:
"(remove ssh key)"
and an addition to the help text on ssh keys. The following section has a new sentence at the end:
<p>Many resources require public key authentication to work. By uploading your public key to us, you can then log in to our servers. Type "man ssh-keygen" for more information on creating your key (it must be an RSA key). Once created you will want to upload ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub. <br /><br />If you wish to login through several hosts, each with their own public key, you can create a concatenated file of public ssh keys and upload it in lieu of the individual ssh public key.</p>
Sorry, I'm a little new to organizing string freeze for translators along with code freeze to keep out code regressions. I'll be more vigilant about string changes from now on.

We don't have staging fas set to refresh translations independently of the code so https://admin.stg.fedoraproject.org/accounts/ isn't instantaneously updated. I can install new packages there daily during this pre-release period if that will help (where by daily, I unfortunately mean Monday-Friday. I can't guarantee updates on the weekend).

That was not a real problem, but I asked before filling BZ ticket :) I have done worse on websites… But the FAS takes more time.
Thank you for the update.
