Dear translation teams, we can now translate the Fedora Cheat Cube svg.
What are these cube? It's a marketing material for boots. It's a paper cube with a lot of useful fedora commands & information.
You can see some examples here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing_collateral?rd=Artwork/MarketingColl...
It also is a good example about how to make svg file translatable using itstool.
Why not translating directly the svg file? To ease translation maintenance and gives translation memory support.
Is it magic? Nope, a cube is very space limited, you may have to make some adjustments to make it fit.
Here is the Zanata project: https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/fedora-cheat-cubes
Here is the repo: https://pagure.io/fedora-cheat-cubes
Special thanks to Nobrakal who updated the cubes and helped me to set this up.
Have a nice day,
Thanks
I'll translate for Brazilian Portuguese. Cordialmente Daniel Lara Souza FEDORA AMBASSADOR - BRAZIL

BTW,Why I didn't see the content on the png(eg. "$uname -r -> get kernel release") on Zanata Web, must I download zanata-client or I am doing it the wrong way?

All the commands (like uname) are not translatable. Arguments (like pkg, dir) are, and obviously, the description. You will ony find in th pot "get kernel release" :)

Thank you for making it possible, Jean-Baptiste!
I added it to the Web group on Zanata, for lack of a better place.

Please note that the packager cube still needs some work, try to translate first the user cube :)

How about a new group: Marketing material? Are there more potential packages in that area?

It’s a good idea, but I would wait until we have at least three items to put into it.

Best regards,
I'm not sure it's a very good idea to includes it in web group, because it is the kind of thing you should only translate if you're gonna use it for an event.
I would rather keep web group free from this project. Maybe only add it into main would do the job? Does it sounds ok to you?
I think if we go into this direction, with using itstool, and po4a conversion capabiities to PO - that will mean we have to rethink some grouping and standard operation procedures. If we gonna use Zanata for mass translation with cooperative solution (zanata ui, alpha editor), that is able to transform sources, and provide translated materials - that would be amazing. Technically if Zanata will be able to use this two, that would be new era...
For example: https://po4a.alioth.debian.org/man/man3/Locale::Po4a::Texinfo.3pm.php - Texinfo support in the 0.51 po4a already for manuals. But this is only my view.

Many teams expect to have “main” translated in 100%, so it doesn’t seem like a good fit. :/
Best regards,
Hello
I updated the svg file for "Fedora_Cheat_Cube_Users_Fedora20_above" version (replaced "yum" command with "dnf"). New version is located here: svg - https://zdenek.fedorapeople.org/Cheat.Cube/Fedora_Cheat_Cube_Users_Fedora20_... png - https://zdenek.fedorapeople.org/Cheat.Cube/Fedora_Cheat_Cube_Users_Fedora20_...
If this update is approved (by someone), could it be uploaded as the new version on the Wiki?

We already worked on it here https://pagure.io/fedora-cheat-cubes/ with some other improvements.
