Hi guys, I am the coordinator of zh_CN team.
I found that someone uploaded several Chinese translations of Fedora project on transifex. But this guy is not belong any translation team according to his/her personal profile on transifex[1]. I've never seen any join request from him, and subscribe request to the mailing lists. But he is in zh_CN team member list now[2]. There is no info about him in FAS.
I have no idea about this. What you guys think? How could someone join the team without sending a request first? If my content is out of topic please tell me which list is appropriate for this issue?
This email is CCed to zh_CN translation mailing list.

Hi everyone, I seems to have the same issue. My account on transifex is Ding14. According to my profile I don't belong to any translation team too, but I do can upload the translation. I remember when I joined transifex I entered the Fedora Chinese translation project, there seems to have a join button or something. After I click it, transifex said I'm the member of the team, I can edit the translation now. This guy could be same as my condition. Is there something I miss too? If so, please tell me.
BTW, it's suck to describe something in English. ^_^

Hi Dimitris, I haven't received join requests from Chuan Ding and DefineFC. Every user join request will be sent to me through email. So in case they clicked the join button, I should have received the notification. The most recent approve action made by me was in January this year. I didn't approve anyone after that.
BTW, this seems only happen in Fedora Project. I received a join request of transifex project today from user DefineFC.
I guess this have something to do with recent feature on teams in transifex. However I don't know how to make deep investigation.
Good observation Tiansworld. This is because the Fedora project has chosen to Automatically accept new member requests in its team.

This is an option which affects the whole project, not each language individually. Thus, I'd ask the whole project (and any team leader reading this) to let me know whether we need to keep it this way or we should manually approve every new translator.

This is absolutely unacceptable, and I have switched it to manual approving. Language coordinators, please review your teams and act according to your judgment.
I also moved three projects from random teams to the Fedora team. Coordinators should have correct privileges to these projects now.
Best regards,
Thanks for taking action Piotr. I wasn't sure why that was the case because we never had it like that.
