Dear translators,
Mike Fabian accepted to be a beta test project for our translation platform with Ibus Typing Booster.
Here is the project: https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/projects/ibus-typing-booster/#inform...
It is an interesting project, has it contains some specific comments for translators: https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/translate/ibus-typing-booster/app/fr...
And it allows you to really use the context feature to find the usage in source code: https://github.com/mike-fabian/ibus-typing-booster/blob/master/engine/emoji_... (ok, here the real line should be 372, maybe the pot is not totally up to date).
This gave me the opportunity to improve the list of question for upstream projects: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N_Move_to_Weblate/Message_for_upstream_pro...
As a result, Weblate will open a pull request: https://github.com/mike-fabian/ibus-typing-booster/pull/57 (until it is merged, Weblate will reuse the same Pull Request to add every translation commits)
Happy translating,
Jean-Baptiste

The checks weblate does are nice, it showed me some problems with trailing periods, colons and spaces in my German translations.

This works quite well in Transtats too. Package: https://transtats.stg.fedoraproject.org/packages/view/ibus-typing-booster Related Job (f31): https://transtats.stg.fedoraproject.org/jobs/log/e1dbb7fb-725b-402c-920b-3da...
thank you Jean-Baptiste and Mike Fabian :)
It would be really helpful if we name components either as per fedora releases like 'fedora-31' or 'fedora31' or 'f31' or by github branches like 'master' or 'head' or 'devel'
thanks again for making the migration happen!
regards, sundeep

Happy translating,
Thank you very much for all the new translations!
I made a release which includes all the new translations and fixes two tiny bugs:
https://github.com/mike-fabian/ibus-typing-booster/releases/tag/2.7.1
Update Chinese (Simplified) translations from Weblate (13.5% translated) Update Spanish translations from Weblate (92.2% translated) Update Catalan translations from Weblate (12.4% translated) Add Hebrew translation from Weblate (67.4% translated) Add Arabic translation from Weblate (28.0% translated) Update Ukrainian translations from Weblate (100.0% translated) Update German translations from Weblate (100.0% translated) Update Japanese translations from Weblate (35.2% translated) Update French translations from Weblate (93.8% translated) Add Hungarian translation from Weblate (58.0% translated) Add Odia translations from Weblate (2.6% translated)
Odia is already at 42.5% on https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/projects/ibus-typing-booster/app/ but Weblate had not yet updated the pull request.
It might be nice if I could force an update when I want to make a release.
Improve compose file parsing to get results containing " correct More test cases for compose sequences Change README.md to refer to Weblate for translations instead of Zanata Fix display of code points in emoji-picker when running in or_IN.UTF-8 locale

Add Hebrew translation from Weblate (67.4% translated) Add Arabic translation from Weblate (28.0% translated)
I quickly tested how the new Arabic and Hebrew translations look like and the stuff in the UI is sometimes not correctly ordered for RTL.
I need to fix it ...

I attached two screenshots showing how the lines for the selected dictionaries look in the setup tool in English and in Hebrew.
In English it looks like:
en_GB 🇬🇧 English (United Kingdom): Spell checking ✔️ Emoji ✔️
and the order in Hebrew seems wrong (same problem in Arabic of course).
I guess it should look like this, right?:
✔️ ijome ✔️ gnikcehc llepS :(modgniK detinU) hsilgnE en_GB 🇬🇧
(I wrote English in reverse instead of putting the real Hebrew characters here so that the order does not get messed up somehow in the email).
After some delay, I translated Ibus Typing Booster to Portuguese (Brazil). Looks good, smooth, no problems with the strings and Weblate interface.
What got me curious is that adding a comment to a string in Fedora's Weblate instance was almost immediate, while in hosted.weblate.org instance it takes a few seconds to process after submitting. That is awesome, of course.
Cheers, Rafael Fontenelle
