Dear localization team,
next meeting is monday (once every two weeks), please find our agenda on:

World clock: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?continent=europe&p...
Have a nice day,
Hi,
I am trying to tune a tool to convert docbookXML strings into asciidoc strings in zanata (see https://pagure.io/fork/jaaf64/docbookXML2asciidoc). At the moment I can easily convert strings using this method but I always stumble where the source string contains this particular sequence:
pass:attributes[{blank}]
I cannot figure out what this stands for.
Could somebody tell me what it is and show me a few example of how it renders in the final doc?
Thanks in advance
José

Strong title! ;) I'm afraid our friends here don't know what you're talking about as this is related to the asciidocs translation.
Here is an example: https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/install-guide/blob/master/f/en-US/install/Boot...
I added the question to the pad so Brian can help us https://pad.lqdn.fr/p/fedora-docs-internationalization-jibecfed
Have a good day,
I suppose that the blank space must be filled with some sort of variable. That's what I understand from that tiny line of code. But filled with what, I don't know.
Hope this is useful. Silvia

This is a method of causing text formatting (bold, underline, etc.) to show up when it is wrapped in an HTML span for further rendering.
I have figured out how to eliminate this bit of ugly, but it is not something I can fully apply today. I don't want to make sweeping format changes the day before GA.
Instead, please ignore this from an translation perspective and I hope it will disappear soon.

bex

Thank you for your answer. At the moment, based on what you say, I will discard it from my translated strings. It won't create too much trouble and it will still be time to reintroduce it later if absolutely required.
Regards
José

As as long as it appears in the final translated output, we are fine.

The most important point is the next translation sprint for F28. https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting/2017-12-11/l10n.2017-12-11-11.00.log.html

I don't have time to have a two weeks schedule, but I hope I'll succeed someday! (It means more contributing time between meetings) https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting/2017-12-11/l10n.2017-12-11-11.00.log.html
