Hello everyone,
about two weeks I can't login on Zanata,
I tried to clean my browser cache, also I tried do login with private mode in firefox, but without success to login.
so I search the list archives and I found a message explaining that this happen due to the slow response from Fedora open id service causing Zanata to fail login.
Someone are having this kind of issue?
What can I do to log me in?
Thanks

Hello Frederico,
Sorry you have this issue, can you describe step by step or record a tiny vidéo of your problem ? Little help : https://fedoramagazine.org/taking-screencast-fedora/
Kind of info needed : url used, kind of auth used, username, error message. It may be related to Zanata, but also to FAS, the central authentification service.
You'll may have to ping infrastructure team if it is after clicking Fedora button to log in, you can create a ticket or reach them on IRC. Little help : https://fedoramagazine.org/beginners-guide-irc/ All info about infra : https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure

Hello all,
I can repeat this issue. I can't login fedora.zanata.org or translate.zanata.org with my FAS account. Zanata is successfully forwarded login request to FAS and I can login to FAS and authenticate login request but when I return to Zanata there is a simple error message "Login Failed".
Kind regards

Hi again,
I am using same Firefox version on F24 and I am also trying to login with Google Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit)) from my F24 and can not login from there too. It seems that it is not a client specific problem but let me know if you need any other detail for my browser properties.

I think this is not a client-issue. I tried to connect using: 1. Firefox, Midori and Google Chrome using Fedora 24. 2. Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari using Mac OS X. 3. Safari using iOS.
The steps I did are the following: 1. Enter to https://fedora.zanata.org/ 2. Clic on Log In. 3. Input my FAS and password. 4. Authorize the permission. 5. Then I am on the home page with the message Login Failed.
I know a few guys which the error appears but they are logged-in and able to translate.
I tried cleaning the cookies, site preferences and history from all the browsers. Also using the private browsing mode. Finally using different Internet connection sources. Same result.
Hope my feedback helps.
Regards!

I send a personnal email to Alex Eng, who is working for redhad in Zanata team. puiterwijk from fedora-infra on #fedora-admin also said you can ping him if needed. By security, if Alex isn't available, I also sent a message to zanata-users mailing list.
We need you to reach infra, if it isn't coming from FAS, we'll have to wait a response from zanata team.
Hi
I have tried with multiple browsers, and looks like I can't login neither. Tried in different times, just login failed message on Zanata top left corner. I will kill my adblocker too, to see that maybe not that causes hiccup.

Hi All,
I seem to be able to log in to Zanata without any problems, although I am seeing a "Login failed" message when I do. There is a reported issue for this: https://zanata.atlassian.net/browse/ZNTA-1112
For the time being, please ignore the error message as you should be logged in. The fix should be out with the next Zanata point release.

For the time being, try to make sure the username in fedora.zanata.org and FAS is the same when register as new user. For existing users that are having problem, I suspect it might be due to username changes in FAS, in which we might need to update the username in fedora.zanata.org
Btw Frederico, can you please try to login again with username '*fredlima*'

I saw that you changed my login on zanata,
but sadly the message still appears, and still not logged in.
But thanks for the change anyway.

Hi,
I have tried again to log in, but in real doesn't do anything. I used now current Firefox from F24. Moreover, when I use at the question the reminder to keep my name in cache, still keeps me away from Zanata, and worse if I push again doesn't log in at all, just seems like a short-circuit, without any effect. What if that FAS has been updated, because of using Persona, or has all the translators, are blocked by infra? I couldn't find that mail, but I suddenly remember there was a spamming issue, that our filtering app couldn't handle. What if that app closed out certain amount of users?

Hi,
I have tried again to log in, but in real doesn't do anything.

For the time being, try to make sure the username in fedora.zanata.org and FAS is the same when register as new user. For existing users that are having problem, I suspect it might be due to username changes in FAS, in which we might need to update the username in fedora.zanata.org
Btw Frederico, can you please try to login again with username 'fredlima'

The username needs to match in both Zanata and FAS. Also, did you update anything recently?

When I try to log in - it throws me a page that has an interesting negative ID number in the URL. I assume that can be bad redirecting??? This is my URL that I get: https://fedora.zanata.org/?dswid=-2842 - or a died out script?

Moreover, when I use at the question the reminder to keep my name in cache, still keeps me away from Zanata, and worse if I push again doesn't log in at all, just seems like a short-circuit, without any effect. What if that FAS has been updated, because of using Persona, or has all the translators, are blocked by infra? I couldn't find that mail, but I suddenly remember there was a spamming issue, that our filtering app couldn't handle. What if that app closed out certain amount of users?

For the time being, try to make sure the username in
fedora.zanata.org
and FAS is the same when register as new user. For existing users that are having problem, I suspect it might be
due to
username changes in FAS, in which we might need to update the
username
in fedora.zanata.org
Btw Frederico, can you please try to login again with username 'fredlima'

Hello everyone,
about two weeks I can't login on Zanata,
I tried to clean my browser cache, also I tried do login with private mode in firefox, but without success to login.
so I search the list archives and I found a message explaining that this happen due to the slow response from Fedora open id service causing Zanata to fail login.
Someone are having this kind of issue?
What can I do to log me in?
Thanks
