stat for release to see the progress?

Hi The question in subject which I can not provide the answer during chatting with some team members. As current any release can be contributed out of it's schedule, and stat is variable. Is anyway to compare fixed stats between releases? I believe that this kind of information would help Marketing and Ambassador as well. noriko

Invalid translation commits made by transifex user for Marathi[mr] language resource

Hi, My FAS username is "sandeeps". I am the upstream author for sending translations for Marathi (https://translate.fedoraproject.org/languages/mr/*). Currently, I am working on localizing "Docs :: Installation Guide » Fedora 12". I have noticed invalid translation commits made by transifex user(s): http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=docs/install-guide.git;a=commit;h=31b324… http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=docs/install-guide.git;a=commit;h=240076… My query: ========= Can any FAS user commit to anybody's LANG resource under */po/ directory ? Problem with smolt.master-smoon.messages.po (F12)

Hi there, I have tried to submit smolt.master-smoon.messages.po but it will not work for some reason... Transifex returns the following error: "Your file does not pass by the check for correctness (msgfmt -c). Please run this command on your system to see the errors." After running the above command (and a few others), I found that the problematic strings were : #: hardware/templates/deviceclass.html:19 #, python-format msgid "% hosts detected ${type}" msgstr "% hôtes détectés ${type}" Looking for a solution, I have tried to add a second percentage sign, or the letter "s" but nothing changed. I eventually looked through old emails and noticed that there has been some discussions about the same problem but it seems that there is no solution yet - unless if I overlooked one of the emails. Hello, my name is Muhammed Al-Fakhori , and I'm a high school student from Palestine. I study many subjects such as Arabic, English Physice,Chemistry ,math etc... . I have some experience in Two-dimensional design anf i do not like programming . I'm With the philosophy of free software , used Linux since about a year (actual use) ,was my first experience with a modified version of Fedora ( Called Ojuba). Yesterday, I've joined the Arabic translation team, and I've already translated number of packets , I look forward to translate more. So I guess that's all. I hope I'll be helpful. --mhmd

Dear noriko I think that the best solution is that there be a coordinator and sponsor of the Arab team , and will have plenty of time for that and he has a good knowledge about these things. Correspond with my team .I will consult with my team about the right person. Dear kaio I use a modified version of Fedora 11 (ojuba 3) and Firefox 3.5.3. Thanks to both of you

I'm 47 years old, autodidact on computer.I started Linux with Ubuntu Breezy Badger and leave this one with Karmic Koala to come on Fedora. I use Fedora 11 on a laptop (samsung R610 - Nvidia 9200M GS), I make graphics as an amateur (i have a webpage on deviantart) and i practiced Irc during 10 years, the last one like Ircop.
