Hi All,
As I am almost MIA from my Fedora Bengali (bn) localization project, I like
to announce Mahay Alam Khan aka MAK [0] as the new coordinator / leader for
Bengali (bn) localization project. From now on he will lead the project. He
is one of our oldest localizer from Bangladesh. Also a fedora ambassador.
Best wishes from me. :)
Cheers,
-Jamil

Hi,
I can't get permissions to translate files on the new Transifex, it tells
me, that I'm not part of the translation team - but I'm the coordinator for
Danish. How can I fix this? :)

Hi.
I like the 1.1, hope there will be less scattering of components over collections.

Hello,
The Fedora Infrastructure team has proposed[1] to move the Fedora Translation
infrastructure to transifex.net. They would be discussing this further in
their next meeting and are looking for inputs from FLP members to fully
understand the implications of such a move. Please do let them know if you have
any feedback about the matter.
regards
Runa

Hi!
To speed up txn migration of Ukrainian translations (we have to hurry as
wrong treatment of plural forms breaks some Ukrainian translations (they
are now far from 100%, but have to be at the release date)) I claim
Ukrainian team creation.
The claim was kindly satisfied by Dimitris Glezos. As soon as our
coordinator (Maxim Dziumanenko) back (it seems he is on trip now) I will
step down from coordinator of transifex.net Ukrainian team (I am just one
of the team members).
This is just a disclaimer to avoid any possible conflicts.
Best regards,
Yuri
Hello all,
I've been thinking of a new FAS group to give experienced translators
a possibility to directly commit translations, based on
provenpackagers idea. It would give translators with good git/hg/etc
knowledge a chance to speed up their workflow, fix some common l10n
issues (outdated POTFILES.in, POT file rebuilds etc.) by themselves
etc. This is how GNOME projects works, and as many of you may know, it
works well. :)
Basically joining proventranslators group will give read/write access
to every repository on fedorahosted.org, so joining requests need to
be carefully verified. This process would be entirely optional, and
most translators will continue to use Transifex.
Any opinions, other ideas? Is it even technically possible?
