Hi,
Just discovered that I cannot disable a format check on Zanata, which claims that number of apostrophes in translated message is not the same as in original message. It is for sure ok, since we don't use apostrophes in Kazakh language.
How do I force Zanata to accept this translation as valid? The only option is to save it as fuzzy translation.
Thanks,

Hi,
H-m-m... No problems with this kind of messages in Ukrainian. I just replace ' with «, push the "Save as Translated" button under the message and it works. Zanata just warns but saves the message as translated.
Can you give an example of the faulty message to test?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Best regards, Yuri

It works here. Just press the third button (from left) below the message or Ctrl+Enter and you are done. Same warning here but the message itself is translated (green line on the left).
Best regards, Yuri
Nope it just says that
You are trying to save an invalid translation
And the only options I have is Return to Editor or Save as Fuzzy
Could it be that I am missing some permissions on that project?

AFAIK, different types of checks can be defined by the maintainer as off/warning/error. If the project maintainers have defined the apostrophe check (maybe the "Java variables" one, not really about apostrophes) as error, translators cannot save strings as translated if they have that "error", and can only customize checks for those the maintainers don't force.
Spanish doesn't use apostrophes, and we have that string translated, but that must come from before that check was activated.
CC'd vtrefny, who might know better.

I’ve switched the “Java variables” check in blivet-gui from error to warning. Please let us know if it helped.

Hi,
There is also similar issue in anaconda project, where it thinks that server and path in following message are (HTML?) tags:
<server>:/<path>
So it doesn't allow me to store translated versions. I just tried to upload to rhel7 branch when I saw this.
Thanks,

This is weird, perhaps Zanata defaults changed recently?
Best regards,
There's no recent changes in Zanata since we are waiting for deployment of 4.0. It is all configuration on project or version settings. Only admin, project maintainers have the access to perform the changes.
