Another new project!
As many of you know, the Fedora Installation Guide is a very big book (about 260 pages in its PDF version). Although this is good for users who need to know about little-used options or who are trying to install Fedora under unusual circumstances, it can be intimidating for most people who just want to download an image file, burn it to CD, and install it on an ordinary desktop or laptop computer.
The Installation Quick Start Guide is a response to criticism both from inside and outside the Fedora community and is only a tenth the length of the full Installation Guide. You can read the English version here: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/installation-quick-start-guide/f11/en-US/html-...
The document is built as much as possible from strings taken from the Installation Guide (and a couple from Readme-Live-Images), to avoid asking translators to work on basically the same material twice. This approach has another advantage: translations from this book can be carried across into the Installation Guide, providing a head start for teams that have not yet attacked that project.
Your help in translating this book is very much appreciated. You can find the project in Transifex here: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/docs-install-quick-start-guide/...
Many thanks Ruediger

Spanish version is completed. Would you publish a draft?
By the way, following the link in section 25 [1] (the Fedora Project website), it mentions below an unexisting Fedora Admin Guide. I think it should be removed and some comments about the Security Guide and SELinux User Guide should be added. These are very important documents for people who uses their Fedora conected to Internet.

Oops!
Will the images be recaptured in the Spanish version? They are all in English [1].

Wow! That was quick!
Yes, I'll publish a draft tomorrow, and import the Spanish screenshots from the (big) Installation Guide.

Hmm -- I don't know who's responsible for that page -- the website team, I guess?
Does anyone else know?
Cheers Rudi

Good catch, thanks for forwarding this to me. I've updated the text to mention the other (existent) guides now :-) and I just pushed the updated po files to git.
Thanks, Ricky

installation-quick-start-guide.pot file has 184 strings, while pl.po has 162/48/214. Something is broken here.

I think you must have downloaded that copy of pl.po before Transifex synchronised it against the .pot file.
Transifex now reports 163/15/6 for Polish, which I have confirmed in both gtranslator and Lokalize. If you download a fresh copy of pl.po everything is fine now.
Cheers Ruediger
