Docs website components now ready for translation

Hi all -- As part of the forthcoming major changes to docs.fedoraproject.org, the documentation site will be translatable for the first time! You can see a very incomplete sample of the general layout here: http://publictest8.fedoraproject.org/fedoradocs/public_html/en-US/index.html The welcome page of the site and a few other components are now available on Transifex here -- https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/docsite-publican/c/master/ As usual, many thanks in advance to all of you who can help us with this. Release Notes update

I have just pushed a couple of small changes in Release Notes. The first, BZ#588953, adds a new section, a couple of paragraphs. Users of varnish are required to make manual changes to their configuration file. The second, BZ#590492, is especially annoying. There was a stray period inside a couple of links which broke the link. Although there is no new language at all, I think it may poison as many as three strings (or as few as none). Thanks --McD

Modification of the wrong submission ("or.po" into "pt.po") in transifex.

Hi, By mistake I had replaced "pt.po" translation with "or.po" file. I just reverted back the pt.po file to its previous translation available in "http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=system-config-users.git;a=tree;f=po;hb=8…" Sorry if it caused any inconvienece. Regards! Manoj

I now "just" have to build and install the docs for F10--F13; this is largely an automated process and I anticipate completing this today or tomorrow. Note that I will have to make a number of small changes to a few books to have them build cleanly; things along the lines of making sure that titles are in the format "Foo Guide" rather than "foo-guide" as I've seen here-and-there. I'll also move any contributor documentation to a different product name: "Fedora Contributor Documentation", which will separate it out from the actual OS documentation. I ask for the forbearance of my fellow guide owners and hope that the end result will be worth it :) If anyone wants to watch work as it progresses, just check out the "Publican-2.0" branch of web.git Feedback welcome. After a while I tried some other distributions and so I found Fedora. I'm currently working at the IT help desk of my university.
