Hi all, I am Brenda, originally from Switzerland, but currently located in Czech Republic and I am here at home for more than 10 years already.
My native is German (or Swiss German), but I am very fluent in Czech, English and French. From a work-related aspect I do translations from DE, FR to EN and vice versa.
My first encounter with Linux was with the distro Linux Mint when I went to Middle School, and since then I am linuxing my way through the computer world.
What led me to wanting to contribute with translations? I've encountered way too often command outputs, documentation and more that were not really German (or any non-English language), but rather a mix of English and German, or they were not translated at all. So I hope I may be of help!
Regards, nanuklein
Hello Brenda
Herzlich willkommen in translation team ;-) Don't you want to support Czech team as well? :-) Just kidding (but feel free to support Czech language anytime)
Happy translating!

First woman in the Czech translation team? It would be really fine. ;) Nevertheless, welcome Brenda.

Welcome, Brenda!
I'm pretty sure you will be a good contributor to German. But please also consider Swiss German as I guess it may be more rare. There was a question about such person recently:
